FOUNDeR’S MESSAGE
NICOLE W. SHARPE
Welcome Home
Greetings, beloved community,
I am Nicole W. Sharpe, Founder and CEO of Mahaba House, and it is my honor to welcome you into a vision that has been taking shape throughout much of my life.
As a daughter of African and Caribbean ancestry, I carry a legacy of resilience, creativity, spirituality, community, and collective responsibility. For more than two decades, my professional journey has taken me across leadership, education, philanthropy, finance, and community development—leading organizations, mobilizing millions of dollars for education and community advancement, and working alongside people committed to creating meaningful change.
Along the way, I witnessed extraordinary leaders doing extraordinary work while too often becoming depleted in the process. My own journey into healing, ancestral wisdom, initiation, coaching, and personal transformation deepened my understanding that how we live, how we lead, and what we build cannot be separated.
That realization gave birth to Mahaba House.
Mahaba began as a vision for sanctuary—a place where professionals and community leaders could step away from responsibility, restore themselves, reconnect with purpose, and remember who they are beyond their roles and titles.
Today, that vision has grown.
Mahaba House is an integrated whole-person development platform designed to help people live well, lead purposefully, build wealth, and create meaningful legacy.
Our work is organized around three interconnected dimensions:
RESTORE — Well-Being • Healing • Renewal
Creating the internal capacity to live and lead with greater wholeness, vitality, and intention.
RISE — Leadership • Purpose • Professional Growth
Developing the clarity, skills, voice, and leadership capacity to advance professionally while remaining aligned with purpose.
BUILD — Wealth • Ownership • Legacy
Transforming professional achievement into financial agency, entrepreneurship, homeownership, assets, opportunity, and generational wealth.
These are not separate pursuits. They are dimensions of one life.
We believe healing is not separate from leadership. Leadership is not separate from economic agency. Wealth is not separate from purpose. And success should not require us to sacrifice our well-being, identity, or humanity.
Our vision is to build Mahaba House into an ecosystem people can return to throughout the seasons of their lives—a place to restore when depleted, rise when called toward greater possibility, build when ready for ownership, and gather when community is needed.
Through retreats, coaching, leadership development, professional learning, financial education, entrepreneurship, real estate, and culturally rooted experiences, we are creating pathways that connect personal transformation with practical advancement.
Ultimately, our goal extends beyond individual success. We envision healthier professionals, conscious leaders, stronger families, greater ownership, more resourced communities, and generations equipped to create possibilities for those who follow.
Wherever you are in your journey, begin there.
Restore what needs tending.
Rise toward what is calling you.
Build what can sustain you—and what may one day outlive you.
Mahaba House is not simply a place to retreat from the world. It is a place to prepare yourself to return to it differently—more whole, more purposeful, and more resourced.
Welcome home.
With love, strength, and gratitude,
Nicole W. Sharpe
